Why did we choose a sea turtle for our logo? 🌊🐢🏳️‍🌈

Turtles are often a symbol of longevity, patience, and determination. Turtles are also positive omens and can be a sign of good fortune. Not only is the sea turtle a perfect mascot for a group located in Ormond Beach, but their symbolism greatly reflects the journey of many queer folks -- it takes patience and determination to live as your authentic self. We at Unity of Ormond Beach hope to provide the safe space you need to do just that.
